Name: Jacob McAnally
Role: Senior Pastor
Hometown/Birthplace: Memphis, TN
Education: Bachelor of Arts in History from Rhodes College-Memphis; Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rhodes College-Memphis; Master of Divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary-Memphis
Testimony: I was told the Gospel faithfully by my Sunday School Teachers every Sunday as a small child. I knew I did bad things and that the bible calls that sin. I knew that Jesus died to take the punishment I deserved. I knew that I could be with Him in heaven if I accepted Him and made him my ‘boss”. One hot July afternoon outside in the backyard, by myself trying to shoot a basketball, I asked Jesus to save me and be my “boss” at the young age of five.
Favorite Verse: Gen 5:24 Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him.
Which Bible character (apart from Christ) has impacted your lift most? Job. As a teenager I found and read the book of Job. His strength and perseverance and how God took care of him are an inspiration in the hard times of my life and ministry.
What is your favorite sport and teams? Basketball. Grizzlies and Memphis Tigers
What is your favorite movie: Lord of the Rings trilogy. I loved the books as a teenager and was thrilled when decent movies about the story came out.
Anything else you would like to tell us about yourself: I love gardening, aquariums and online video games.
Name: Travis “RMNS13” Bradley
Role: Associate Pastor and Creative Director
Hometown/Birthplace: Albany, NY
Family: Single- All relatives live at least 10 hours away
Education: 2 Year Certificate of Completion in Communications Design from Pratt MWP (Utica, NY); Bachelor of Christian Studies from Mid- America Baptist Theological Seminary (Memphis, TN)- May 2017
Testimony: Travis was not born into Church life and as such his journey to salvation was one that wasn’t familiar with Christian subculture. His submission to Christ was ultimately spurred on by the death of his Grandfather who instilled in Travis most of his “life values”. This loss brought to his attention a void he was trying to fill with the love of family; a void we’re all born with… that void being- the need for an intimate relationship with Jesus. Travis was 13 at this point in his life.
Favorite Verse: “Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.” -1 Peter 5:7
Which Bible character (apart from Christ) has impacted your life the most? Jonah. If Travis is not intentional about growing in Christ likeness he is most susceptible to a state of heart that is absent of grace, and compassion.
Favorite Sport, and Team: Rugby. England Rugby.
Favorite Movie: Good Burger
Other Interests: Travis enjoys relentlessly making puns, and trying to shut his brain off in hopes of enjoying Netflix binge sessions; shows including but not limited to: Breaking Bad, Stranger Things, Bobs’ Burgers, and The Office.
